iMedia Brand Summit Event Recap: Iconic Brand Strategies Unleashed
Last week, MaxPoint headed to Bonita Springs, Florida for the 2012 iMedia Brand Summit to join the conversation on the secrets in digital that define the world’s most iconic brands. Below is a brief recap of the event.
As spending shifts from traditional to digital, more are realizing the importance of digital’s role and the impact it can have on an advertising campaign. At this past iMedia Brand Summit, attendees dove into learning and discussing the role digital plays in delivering a lasting brand impact and deeper audience engagement.
To stress how brands can help shape how consumers feel about their lives and themselves through rich brand experiences, the summit focused on three main topics:
- What branding works in different digital environments
- How to become iconic with memorable digital branding
- How to leverage multiple digital platforms like video, mobile, social, etc., for big branding bang
Presentations ranged from unique brand digital strategies to social media campaigns and how to leverage new technology in high retail traffic seasons. Keynote speakers included Scott Roen, VP Digital Marketing & Innovation for American Express and Jen Sey, SVP Global Marketing for Dockers.
